  1. Check the entrance/kitchen/living room/dining area
    • Check if anything is broken/damage in the common area of your flat:
    • I advise you to replace it on your own before you leave.
  2. I advise you to share between flat mates costs of common equipment.
  3. All your food must be removed from kitchen cabinet, fridge or freezer (don’t let it for your roommates, from experience we know they will remain there after your roommates departure).

If you do not want to throw away your personal belongings and food, you can always give them to other who needs it like to « La Croix rouge » or other organization in Prague.

    • state of wall and floor

  1. Reminder
    • All personal belongings must be removed. If you have any souvenirs from your Erasmus time or anything that wasn't in the flat before you arrived, you have to take it out of the flat.
  2. Keep in mind that your flat will welcome new tenants after your departure so be sure the flat is fresh and clean.

  • Once you leave the flat, if something is broken in the common areas between the moment you left and my check-up, the costs will be divided between all the tenants. Except if your flat mates take all the responsibility.

  • Also, if you are not the last one leaving the flat, please help your roommates in the cleaning of the common areas so the last one doesn't have to clean everything after you left!

  • You can leave your flat any time before the end of your contract, as long as your rent is covered. But it is not possible after (if you wish to extend your stay and the room is still free, you can contact the agency Student Room Flat).

  • Be careful that you have checked everything before you leave, as there is no returning to the room/apartment possible once the checkout is completed and you left the flat.

Attention!

If any of the listed steps is not respected or followed, there will be additional costs to cover the intervention and transport.

Examples:

  • If cleaning is not properly done at the check-out, cleaning will be provided by an external company at your own costs.
  • If you don't replace anything broken/damage in your room and common spaces, there will be additional costs to cover the intervention and transport.
  • If you do not reorganize the furniture in your bedroom/common spaces in the original position, you will be charged you as we will need to send someone to remove it for the next tenant.
